State police at Fern Ridge are investigating a burglary in Chestnuthill Township.

The incident happened some time between 3 p.m. March 30 and 6 p.m. April 12 at the vacation home of Martin R. Bauer, 209 Westbrook Road in the Sun Valley Mountain Estates. Bauer lives in East Fallowfield, Chester County.The burglar unscrewed a door to a crawl space, then cut about three feet of copper piping from under the house.Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call police at 570-846-2271.
