A Daytona Beach, Florida man remains in the Schuylkill County prison in Pottsville after his preliminary hearing before District Judge Stephen Bayer, of Tamaqua, on Sept. 27.

Jason R. Seblin, 40, was in court to answer to charges of making terroristic threats and harassment in connection with a Sept. 9 incident on Cherry Street in Tamaqua. The charges were filed by patrolman Lynn York and were held for criminal session in Schuylkill County court.Seblin remains jailed in lieu of $25,000 straight cash bail.A number of defendants elected to waive their preliminary hearings before Bayer.Christopher Orfield, 35, of Cleveland Street, andJesse Jadush, 38, of South Kennedy Drive, both in McAdoo, waived matching charges of disorderly conduct, public drunkenness and harassment to court. They were charged by McAdoo patrolman William Curilla in connection with a June 18 fight.Both had a charge of rioting withdrawn and were released on $10,000 unsecured bail.Daniel Goepfert,20, of Zehner's Crossing Road, Tamaqua. was charged with theft from a motor vehicle and receiving stolen property. The charges were filed by Tamaqua patrolman Michael Hobbs after a July 13 incident.He was released on his own recognizance.Nancy Cole,54, of Bowe Street, Tamaqua, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia by Tamaqua patrolman Hobbs. The charges were filed after an Aug. 18 incident.She was released on her own recognizance.Vincent Sincere Davis,25, of Winters Avenue, Hazleton, was charged with identity theft and possession of an access device knowing it's counterfeit/altered. The charges were filed by Kline Township patrolman Anthony DiVirgilio after a Feb. 22 incident.Davis was released on $10,000 percentage bail.Sean Bonilla,29, of East Bertsch Street, Lansford, was charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance, driving under the influence of a combination of alcohol and a controlled substance, disregarding a traffic lane and failure to use the required turning signals.The charges were filed by Tamaqua patrolman Collin Leibensperger after a June 26 incident.He was released on his own recognizance.Matthew Cassidy Jr. and Terri L. Kates, both of Tamaqua, had charges against them withdrawn, while Michael Jevelle of Ringtown and Andrew R. Pollack of McAdoo had the charges against them dismissed.
