A Philadelphia resident was arrested on a drug charge at a state prison in Schuylkill County.

State police at Frackville said they were called to the State Correctional Institution (SCI) at Mahanoy, located along Morea Road, in Mahanoy Township, about 12:38 p.m. on Sunday, May 8, for a person found to have marijuana on him.Troopers said Christian Christmas was found with a small amount of marijuana. He was at the prison to visit a relative when guards discovered the drugs on him. He was cited for that offense and released.
