Three people were charged by Nesquehoning police for violating a borough ordinance concerning soliciting.
Police said on April 9 they received multiple complaints from various residents about people walking around the borough attempting to sell energy from an alternate source without proper permits.Chief Sean Smith located the suspects while off duty and notified officer Steven Homanko.Homanko issued citations to Myna Gomez, Eric Hauard, Devon Harris, and Jeremy Soto, no addresses listed, for disorderly conduct and failing to obtain soliciting permits.Police asked residents if they come in contact with a solicitor, to call police immediately and keep all doors locked.
