State police at Fern Ridge are investigating an incident at a Monroe County church.

Troopers said someone placed three bags containing decapitated birds near the entrance of Zion Lutheran Church, 1919 Route 209, in Brodheadsville, Chestnuthill Township.The incident occurred sometime between April 16 and 17. Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call troopers at 570-646-2271.
