The theft of an all-terrain vehicle is being probed by state police at Lehighton.

Troopers said Barbara Ventolo, 69, of 19 Masters Trail, Albrightsville in Carbon County, reported a 2013 gray Kymco UXV500i utility ATV was removed from her property on Sunday, April 20, between 8 p.m. and midnight.Troopers said tracks at the scene suggest the thief backed the vehicle onto Guest Circle and continued north toward Masters Trail. It is not known if the criminal had a key for the vehicle or if it was "hot-wired." The value of the vehicle was set at $10,000.Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call troopers at 610-377-4270.
