Two Luzerne County residents are facing drug charges following a vehicle stop in Monroe County.
State police at Fern Ridge said troopers stopped a vehicle about 1:35 p.m. on April 16 along Interstate 80 in Tobyhanna Township, for a traffic violation.The two occupants, identified as Franco Guirin, 19, and a male juvenile, both of Wilkes-Barre, displayed signs of criminal activity.A search of the vehicle was made and a large quantity of marijuana was found.Both were charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance.
