State police at the Lehighton barracks are investigating an attempted burglary that happened between 3:30 and 7:30 p.m. April 17 at a home in Eldred Township.

Police said someone tried to force their way into the residence of Ginny Le Frost, 57, of 184 Bernies Road, Kunkletown.The attempt was made through the front garage door, after which time the actor(s) tried to pry the door from the top in hopes of possibly getting to the garage door opener chain.
