A cottage and shed on property in Polk Township were forcibly entered on April 11 according to state police at the Lehighton barracks.

The incident happened along Middlecreek Road in the township. The victim is an unnamed female.Police said they were dispatched around midnight to investigate a reported burglar alarm. Upon arrival, police discovered someone forced open a door on the side of the cottage and a shed in the back of the cottage.Police said the actor(s) fled the scene before police arrived.
