A driver was cited following a one-vehicle crash that occurred about 2:45 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 31, along SR1016 in Delano Township, Schuylkill County.

State police at Frackville said Kenneth W. VanHorn, 34, of Mahanoy City, was driving a 2004 Volkswagen Passat southbound when the vehicle left the road and struck an embankment along the east berm. VanHorn was not injured but the vehicle had to be towed from the scene.Troopers cited VanHorn for driving a vehicle at an (un) safe speed.
