An incident that happened at 1:40 a.m. Jan. 27 at Crocodile Lyle's Bar, 212 Center St., Jim Thorpe, has resulted in a borough woman being arrested.

Police said Jenessa Jayne Tappan, 300 Center Ave., has been charged with simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct as a result of the incident.Police said they were summoned to the business at the above time, where a Heather Goodhue told them Tappan struck her in the face with the a beer bottle while inside the bar. Police said the victim received numerous cuts and abrasions to her face.The arrests were made after police made several unsuccessful attempts to contact Tappan.
