State police at Lehighton reported on harassment incidents that have led to charges.

Troopers said a 13-year-old student at Palmerton High School in Lower Towamensing Township engaged in a verbal/physical altercation in the gymnasium area of the school. The incident occurred about 7:45 a.m. on April 16.The teen was cited for harassment.Troopers said Eric Michael Safianow, 19, and Mark Rawlins, 26, both of Jim Thorpe, were involved in verbal argument at 63 Bayberry Road, in Penn Forest Township, Carbon County, which turned physical, leading to both striking each other.Both were cited for harassment.
