A Lehighton man is being charged with driving under the influence.

Roger M. Marfitt, 30, was charged by state police at Lehighton at 2:22 a.m. Sunday.According to a news release, Marfitt was stopped on Route 209 in Polk Township after a trooper saw him driving erratically and speeding. Marfitt showed signs of impairment, and was taken to the Monroe County DUI Processing Center, where he refused to submit to a blood test. Charges are pending, according to the news release.
