A Schuylkill County woman and two young children were injured in a one-vehicle crash that occurred about 4:25 p.m. on Wednesday, April 30, along Seltzer Road in Norwegian Township.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Ashley N. Trate, 22, of Minersville, was driving a 2006 Suzuki Forenza westbound when, for unknown reasons, she crossed into the oncoming lane and struck a rock embankment along the eastbound berm. After impact the vehicle traveled back into the eastbound lane and crossed over to the westbound lane where it came to rest facing northwest.Trate and the two female children, ages 2 and 1, were injured and taken to the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. The children were in safety seats.
