Doors open at 10:30 a.m. Drawing at 2 p.m. You do not need to be present to win. Refreshments, special raffles and a bake sale will be available. Benefits the youth of the church.VFW AuxiliaryThe regular monthly meeting of the VFW Auxiliary to Nesquehoning Memorial Post 8008 was held Jan. 8 at the post home, with President Christa Kattner presiding.General orders 5 and 6 were read and filed for action. Information on Operation Diaper Bag was received, along with a thank you from the Alzheimer's Association for a recent donation.Eighty cards were sent by members present.Redner's will be contacted to set a May weekend for Buddy Poppies. The auxiliary has achieved their 100 percent in membership for 2017.A bloodmobile collection was held on Dec. 14, the next visit will be mid-February. Several members reported community activity hours.The children's Christmas Party was held Dec. 17 and was very successful.Donations were made to the Voice of Democracy, Patriots Pen and Patriotic Art scholarship Funds.District 20 will meet at 2

p.m.Feb. 12at Stroudsburg Post 2540. Department President Donna Mills will be making her official visit to the district at that time.
