A 17-year-old Tamaqua male and 18-year-old Dominic Montero-Dirzulaitis of Hometown are facing charges following a traffic stop on June 19 in Rush Township.

At 2:04 a.m. police stopped a vehicle operated by the 17-year-old, who will be charged with driving under the influence (DUI) of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and traffic offenses. Montero-Dirzulaitis, who was a passenger, will be charged with underage drinking.
