The monthly meeting of the Carbon County Democrats for Change (CCDC) will be held on Tuesday, April 26 at 7 p.m. at the Inn at Jim Thorpe located at 24 Broadway, Jim Thorpe.

The meeting will feature a panel discussing the Corbett State Budget proposal. Participating in the panel will be Barbara Sipler of PSEA and a local teacher, discussing the impact on local schools; also, Bill Roth, Ph.D of Kutztown University, and a representative of local libraries.Representatives from the Pocono Medical Center "SEIU Strike for Respect" will also attend to brief the group on the issues and the largest labor rally in Pennsylvania history that will be held in East Stroudsburg on May 14.Visitors and guests are always welcome.
