Nesquehoning Police Chief Sean Smith reported the following information recently:

Alice Taylor, 235 Lafayette St., Tamaqua, was arrested April 5 for driving without a license after she was stopped on Industrial Road, off Rt. 54. She was also arrested for the same violation on April 10 in the 300 block of West Catawissa Street.Adam Smith, 40 Stock St., Nesquehoning, was arrested for driving under suspension, passing in a no passing zone and careless driving on April 9 on Rt. 54 in the area of the Hauto Valley Estates.Christopher George, Pingtown, Pa., was arrested April 10 for driving without a license on April 10 on Rt. 54 in the area of the Hauto Fire Company.Douglas Reider, Bloomsburg, was arrested for driving while his license is suspended on April 6 on Rt. 93 near the State Gamelands.Janelle Ostrowski, 14 W. broad St., Tamaqua, was arrestred for driving while her license is suspended and speeding (42

m.p.h. zone) on April 10, at oak and Catawissa streets.The chief said seven persons were also cited for speeding at various locations in the borough, as well as one person each for red light, stop sign and expired registration violations.
