A Monroe County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) following an incident that occurred about 2:28 a.m. on Saturday, March 26, along SR940 at Crestwood Drive, in Mt. Pocono.

Pocono Mountain Regional police said a vehicle operated by Scott E. Price, 21, of Cresco, was stopped for failure to stop for a posted stop sign at Knox Street.Price was found to be under the influence and failed field sobriety tests. He was then taken to the Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg, for a blood test.The DUI charge is pending the test results, police said.
