Panther Valley School Board went on record to endorse the Palmerton School Board's efforts to have land set aside for conservation and educational purposes. H. Francis Rosen, supentendent of the Palmerton Area School District, inaugurated a drive to have the federal government put aside land in the Beltzville Dam project area for use by school districts to promote the practices.
