At least one person was seriously injured this morning when involved in a crash in East Brunswick Township. The crash occurred at 7 a.m. as the Jeep Wrangler was traveling along Schmaltzdahl Road near the intersection with Paint Lane. The Jeep struck two trees along the south berm then bounced back across the roadway, coming to rest along the north berm. One of the occupants was treated by members of the New Ringgold ambulance and Pottsville/Schuylkill Haven paramedics, then flown via MedEvac helicopter to the Lehigh Valley Hospital Trauma Center in Allentown. State police at Frackville are investigating.
