Emergency responders from many surrounding communities were called to Burma Road near the borders of Ryan and Blythe Township around 3:30 p.m. on Saturday after the driver of a blue Neon lost control and collided with trees while traveling west on Burma Road. A male and female were airlifted to the hospital after rescuers had to used the jaws-of-life to extricate the passenger from the vehicle. Hometown Fire Police directed traffic around the accident.
