Christine M. Powers, 22, of Albrightsville, sustained minor injuries in a one-vehicle crash Dec. 23 at 6:38 a.m. on Stony Mountain Road in Penn Forest Township.

State police at the Fern Ridge barracks said she was driving a 2007 Kia Rondo northbound when she failed to negotiate a right curve in the roadway. The vehicle traveled into the woods and struck a tree before coming to rest.The West End Ambulance responded.Police said the driver will be cited as a result of the crash.
