Trina Marie McGovern, daughter of Mrs. Mary McGovern, Tamaqua R. 3, and the late John McGovern, is representing the Carbon-Tamaqua Area in the 1988 Pennsylvania Junior Miss State Finals. Twenty-five outstanding high school senior girls drawn from local and at-large programs across the commonwealth are participating. Currently attending Tamaqua High School, Trina hopes for a career in business. She will perform a novelty tap dance for he Creative and Performing Arts presentation.
