Austin Rooney, 19, of 17 Snyder Ave., McAdoo, has been charged with illegal transportation of alcohol following a vehicle stop in the borough on April 26. McAdoo police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle Rooney was driving with a smashed passenger side taillight.

Inside the vehicle police found two cases of Bud Light beer on the backseat.
