Rush Township police have released details of a one-vehicle crash on May 4 in the township.

Kenneth Hertzog, 54, of McAdoo, was driving a Dodge Dakota on East Main Street at 6:17 p.m. when he lost control. The pickup left the highway and struck a tree. Hertzog appeared to be intoxicated and was taken to Schuylkill Medical Center -S. Jackson St., in Pottsville, for blood tests.A charge of driving under the influence is pending the results of those tests.
