Tamaqua police have cited Allen Keith Meckes, 45, of 525 Willing St., Tamaqua, following a domestic incident on April 27.

At 4:40 a.m. the victim went to the Tamaqua Police Station to report being attacked by Meckes during an argument. There were visible bruises and scratches to her neck. Officers went to the home and found Meckes in bed.He was arrested and arraigned on charges of simple assault and harassment. Bail was set at $5,000 unsecured.
