State police at the Schuylkill Haven barracks are investigating a burglary and theft that happened at the FAA Communications Facility located in Porter Township, Schuylkill County.

The victim is the Federal Aviation Administration.Police said the incident happened between Feb. 25 and May 16 when someone entered a restricted, fenced off area and used a tool to pry open an exterior metal door to the communications room. The person stole several tools and equipment used to test, service and maintain the communications site and also stole several spools of red and green insulated wire, a portable eyewash station and two red tool boxes.
