One person was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 2:27 p.m. May 16 on Longswamp Road in Lower Macungie Township.

State police at the Fogelsville barracks said Arthur L. Hahn, 74, of Topton, was transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital in Salisbury Township, in the Macungie Ambulance. The extent of his injuries was unknown, police said.Hahn was driving a 2008 Nissan Sentra westbound and was negotiating a right curve when the vehicle crossed into the eastbound land and struck the driver's side of a 2010 Chrysler Town and Country operated by Andrea A. Bodnari, 17, of Birdsboro.Police said the Sentra sustained disabling damages to its front end while the Town and Country's damage was on the driver's side. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.Police said Hahn will be cited for failure to drive at a safe speed.
