Palmerton Police Department is investigating the following incidents:

TheftCriminal charges were filed against Nicholas Carullo, 21, of 1894 Pocono Blvd., Mount Pocono, for seven counts of receiving stolen property, four counts of unauthorized use of automobiles, four counts of access device fraud and three counts of theft.The incident occurred at 1:26 a.m. on April 30 in the 100 block of Lafayette Avenue.Traffic violationCriminal charges were filed against Daniel Engler, 70, of 347 Silver Spring Blvd., Kunkletown, for accidents involving death or personal injury, recklessly endangering another person, duty to give information and render aid, traffic control signals, and right-of-way pedestrians in crosswalks.The incident occurred at 2:43 p.m. on April 17 at Delaware Avenue and Fifth Street.Carl Carlson, 23, of 221 Delaware Ave., second floor, Palmerton, was cited for careless driving. The violation occurred at 2:30 p.m. on May 9 at Lehigh Avenue and Fourth Street.Public drunkennessCriminal charges were filed against Davis Kline, 22, of 1021 Mary Ann Alley, Palmerton, for two counts of receiving stolen property and public drunkenness.The incident occurred at 10:48 a.m. on May 12 in the 700 block of Franklin Avenue.Disorderly conductCitations for disorderly conduct were filed against a 17-year-old Whitehall female and a 17-year-old Allentown female. The violations occurred at 8:48 a.m. on May 15 in the 400 block of Delaware Avenue.Simple assaultA juvenile referral was filed against a 14-year-old Albrightsville male for two counts of simple assault. The incident occurred at 8:21 a.m. on March 4 in the 400 block of Delaware Avenue.SpeedingKyle Barrall, 32, of 605 Ore St., Bowmanstown, was cited for speeding. The violation occurred at 8:03 p.m. on May 12 on Route 248 west.A citation was issued to a 17-year-old Palmerton male for speeding. The violation occurred at 7 p.m. on May 12 on Route 248 west.Theron Jones, 18, of 475 Lafayette Ave., Palmerton, was cited for speeding. The violation occurred at 10:51 p.m. on May 9 in the 700-800 blocks of Delaware Avenue.A citation was issued to Ashley Stein, 27, of 920 Main St., Bethlehem, for speeding. The violation occurred at 6 p.m. on May 10 in the 600 block of Mauch Chunk Road.Vehicle violationJohn Reppert, 25, of 345 Lehigh Ave., Palmerton, was cited for safety glass. The violation occurred at 7:02 p.m. on May 13 on Route 248 west.
