A Lebanon County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence following a traffic stop in Schuylkill County.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Steven Leid, 46, of Myerstown, was driving a 1995 Jeep Wrangler westbound on Route 895, near Woodland Drive in South Manheim Township, about 6:15 p.m. on Sunday, May 25, when he was stopped for an equipment violation.Leid was suspected to be under the influence and submitted to field sobriety tests. He was then transported to the Schuylkill Medical Center-S. Jackson Street in Pottsville, for a blood test.The DUI charge is pending the test results, troopers said.
