Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash in Polk Township, Monroe County.

State police at Fern Ridge said Marc Garcia, 19, of Kunkletown, was driving a 2014 Chevrolet Cruise at 3:05 p.m. on May 20, and failed to yield the right of way when crossing Route 534.His vehicle struck a 2001 Ford Taurus operated by Betty Williams, 72, of Kunkletown, who was traveling westbound in the right lane at the intersection with Dotter's Corner Road and Jonas Road.In Williams' vehicle were passengers Mandee Vogel, 24; Jameson Vogel, 5; Faith Whitman, 3; and Levi Whitman, under a year old, all from Kunkletown.Williams had minor injuries. Vogel was moderately injured and was taken to Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg.No one else was injured. They were all wearing seat belts.Garcia was charged with failure to yield properly.
