A Monroe County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence following an incident that occurred at 1:17 a.m. on Tuesday, May 27.

Pocono Mountain Regional police were dispatched to the main gate at A Pocono Country Place development in Tobyhanna for a male sleeping in his car in the parking lot.On scene the man was identified as Antoine Williams, 28, of Tobyhanna. He was found sleeping across the two front seats of the car. Police detected the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from Williams.He failed field sobriety tests and was taken to the county DUI center for a blood test. The DUI charge is pending the test results, police added.
