A single-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle was investigated by state police at Frackville in which the driver sustained serious injuries.

Troopers said the crash occurred at 5:58 p.m. on May 26 when Allan Jones, 66, Barnesville, was traveling northbound on Route 1011 in Ryan Township.He was operating a Harley-Davidson when he drove off the road into a wooded area, where he was thrown from the motorcycle.He was flown to Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township, for treatment of what troopers called major injuries.
