Two Schuylkill County residents have been arrested for retail theft.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said the incidents occurred at Boscov's Department Store in the Fairlane Village Mall in Norwegian Township.On Friday at 1 p.m. Renee Elizabeth Gibas, of New Philadelphia, and Trevor John Gibas, of Pottsville, entered the store. Renee Gibas was observed by store security placing clothing, jewelry and perfume items on her person and then exiting the store without paying for them.Trevor Gibas was observed by store security concealing a pair of gray Camo Company 81 shorts on his person and exiting the store.Both were stopped by store security and held for troopers.During the investigation troopers learned that Renee Gibas had a warrant for her arrest issued by the county adult probation office. She was placed in the county prison on the warrant.
