The Allentown enforcement office of the state liquor control board has cited four Schuylkill County businesses for violating the state liquor code.
Cited were:The Oyster Bar, 113 to 115 S. Main St., Shenandoah, for selling alcohol to a visibly intoxicated person. The offense occurred on Oct. 9, 2013.The Greystone Restaurant, 315 to 317 N. Centre St., Pottsville, for not cleaning a beverage dispensing system at least once every seven days and not maintaining records as required. Citation issued May 7.Hucklebuck's, 114 E. Norwegian St., Pottsville, for selling alcohol to a 19-year-old on May 21.Tassone's Catering, 318 Washington St., Port Carbon, for operating after 2:30 a.m. on May 7.These charges will be brought before an administrative law judge who has the authority to impose penalties ranging from $50 to $1,000 for minor offenses and up to $5,000 for more serious ones. In addition the judge can also suspend or revoke a license based on the severity of the charge brought.
