A tire blowout was the caused of a one vehicle crash that occurred about 4:08 p.m. on May 28 along Interstate 80 in Tunkhannock Township, Monroe County.

State police at Fern Ridge said Nancy Colon, 37, of Hazleton, was driving a 2002 Ford Windstar westbound when a tire on the vehicle blewout. This cause Colon to crash into the guard rail, troopers said.Colon and three passengers, all from Hazleton, were not injured.
