State police at Frackville are investigating a theft incident in which a large quantity of tools, valued around $10,000, was taken.
Troopers said a storage shed along Route 1013, at Interstate 81 in Delano Township, was entered when the padlock was cut.Removed from the shed was a Honda 5,000-watt generator, a Honda 6,500-watt generator, two 6-foot levels, a Stihl curb saw, a tool kit, a Paslode nail gun, Skil circular saw and a Bosch hammer drill.The stolen items are the property of Allan A. Myers Construction Company of Worcester, Montgomery County.The theft occurred sometime between 3 p.m. on Friday and 6:30 a.m. on Monday.
