Pocono Mountain Regional police responded to 1386 Pocono Blvd., Apt. 101, in Mount Pocono, at 9:13 p.m. on June 5 to a report of a drug overdose.

On scene, officers found a juvenile unconscious from an overdose, and police interviewed John Patrick Davison, 21, of that address.Davison was found to have used heroin in bags in his possession, which he tried to conceal and destroy before police arrival. Davison also said he had purchased the heroin for himself and the juvenile, which they consumed and the minor then became unconscious. Also, controlled substances and paraphernalia were found in the apartment.Police took Davison into custody and committed him to the county prison in Snydersville in lieu of bail. He was charged with corruption of a minor, tampering with evidence, and possession of a controlled substance.No further information concerning the condition of the minor was released by police.
