Three people were injured, including two children, in a two-vehicle crash that occurred at 2:15 p.m. on Tuesday at the intersection of Route 901 and Forest Lane in Cass Township, Schuylkill County.

State police at Frackville said Jordan J. Kaufman, 23, of Tremont, was driving a 2000 Freightliner truck eastbound on 901 and approaching the intersection with Forest Lane when Elisa R. Williams, 28, of Pottsville, driving a 2004 Hyundai Elantra, pulled onto 901 from Forest Lane to go westbound.Kaufman was unable to avoid the Elantra and struck it. After impact the Elantra spun clockwise and came to rest in the westbound lane. The truck came to rest on the shoulder of the road.Williams and two children with her were injured and taken to the Schuylkill Medical Center-E. Norwegian Street in Pottsville, for treatment. Kaufman and his passenger, Robert Klouser, 41, of Tremont, were not injured.
