A Luzerne County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence following an incident in Monroe County.

Pocono Mountain Regional police were called to the NBT branch bank parking lot in Mount Pocono at 11:20 p.m. on Friday after a motorist was flagged down by a female.The female was identified as Tina Marie Amato, 41, of Wyoming. An investigation revealed that Amato had driven her 2013 Suzuki sedan over the curb at the bank and it stuck on a rock.Amato was found to be under the influence and was transported to the county DUI center for a blood test.Police said a charge of DUI will be filed against Amato.
