A Monroe County man is facing charges, including simple assault, following a domestic incident.

State police at Fern Ridge said the incident occurred at 7:27 a.m. on May 25 in the driveway at 215 King St. in Jackson Township.Troopers said Dennis Edward Hickey, 46, of that address, and a 46-year-old female engaged in a verbal argument over alleged infidelity rumors. This argument escalated and became physical as Hickey grabbed the female. During the struggle, Hickey elbowed the female to the nose and then proceeded to drag her across the driveway by the hood of her sweatshirt.The female sustained multiple injuries, troopers said.Hickey was also charged with harassment.
