State police at Lehighton are investigating a burglary at a Carbon County home.

Troopers said the residence of Eric M. Safianow, 19, of 63 Bayberry Road, Jim Thorpe, Penn Forest Township, was entered through an unlocked bedroom window while the victim was sleeping. Removed from the home was guns and knives belonging to Safianow.The incident occurred sometime between 1 and 5:30 a.m. on May 24.
