A vehicle stop in Monroe County led to the arrest of the driver and one of his passengers.
Pocono Mountain Regional police said Matthew Suter, 21, of Pocono Lake, was stopped at 2:38 a.m. on Sunday along Long Pond Road for several traffic violations. At the stop police observed there were five occupants in the vehicle including Suter.Suter was found to be under the influence and failed field sobriety tests. He was then arrested and transported to the county DUI center for a blood test. A driving under the influence charge is pending.A passenger in the vehicle, Ashley Parks, 18, of Canonsburg, Washington County, was found to have consumed alcohol and was cited for underage drinking.
