State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating the theft of a vehicle battery.

Lori Slavinsky, of 3 Grace Ave., Schuylkill Haven, North Manheim Township, reported someone removed the battery from her 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee while parked at her residence. The theft occurred sometime between 7 p.m. Thursday and 6 p.m. Friday.Troopers are also investigating an incident in South Manheim Township.Paul Anthony Donati, of 703 Berne Drive, reported someone threw a lead brick through the rear windshield of his 2002 Dodge Intrepid while parked at his home. The incident occurred sometime between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
