Two separate domestic incidents in Monroe County have led to two arrests.
Pocono Mountain Regional police said the first incident occurred at 4:20 p.m. on Saturday at 7094 Cypress Lane, in Tobyhanna. Police responded to that location for a report of a domestic disturbance. On scene the two parties were separated by police. After an investigation police said Rupert Issac Jr., 50, of that address was placed in custody for assaulting a woman.Issac was transported to the county prison in Snydersville to await arraignment on charges of simple assault and harassment.On Monday, July 7, about 9:54 a.m. officers were dispatched to 1187 Trapper Lane in Pocono Summit for a reported of a domestic dispute. On scene officers interviewed the victim, who said she had been assaulted by Robert L. Lilly II, 26. Police found corroborative evidence of an assault and took Lilly into custody.He was taken to the county prison to await arraignment on charges of simple assault and harassment.
