A Schuylkill County man has been cited for harassment following an incident in which his grandmother is the victim.

State police at Frackville said Alex Christopher Long, 24, of 322A W. Main St., Girardville, got into a verbal argument with his grandmother, Irene Long, 64, same address, over money. Troopers said he then picked up a porch chair and threw it at his grandmother. The chair did not strike her.The incident occurred about 8:15 a.m. on Sunday.
