State police at Schuylkill Haven reported investigating a rear-end crash on Monday along Route 61 near Seven Stars Road in North Manheim Township.

Troopers said Nicholas R. Mekosh, 59, of Kulpmont, was driving a 2006 BMW northbound and began slowing down for two trucks ahead of him.Regis B. Dellavalle, 26, of Schuylkill Haven, driving a 1996 Mercury Sable, also northbound, was unable to slow down, and the front of his vehicle hit the rear of Mekosh's vehicle.Dellavalle and his passenger, Yvonne M. Cummings, 34, of Schuylkill Haven; and Mekosh and his passenger, Elizabeth A. Mekosh, 57, same address, were all not injured. The Sable had to be towed from the scene, while the BMW sustained minor damages.Troopers cited Dellavalle for driving at an unsafe speed.
