A dog owner in Monroe County has been cited after her dog bit a bicyclist.

State police at Fern Ridge said Matthew E. Koch, 20, of Jackson Township, was riding his bike in front of the residence of Krystal N. Amato, 21, of 1240 Neola Church Road in Jackson Township, when her 19-month-old German shepherd bit Koch on his lower right leg.Troopers said Amato was cited under the state's dog law. Troopers did not indicate if Koch required medical attention.
