A McAdoo man has been cited for allowing his dog to roam free.

Borough police were dispatched to 109 S. Sheridan St. at 10:42 p.m. on June 12 after the Schuylkill County Communications Center received a call about a dog running loose. The communications center told the officer the dog was owned by Victor Craig, of 107 S. Sheridan St., and had previously been reported as dangerous.An officer found the dog on the porch at 109 S. Sheridan. The animal then went to Craig's front porch. The officer used the patrol car's lights and air horn to attract Craig's attention.The dog was eventually let back into his home and Craig exited the home to speak to the officer.Craig was cited for failing to confine a dangerous dog.
